Business Analyst

Oak Technical Services (OTS) is looking for a full time business analyst to work in a CA State PMO as a requirements business analyst. This will be a remote work position, but occasional attendance at the project office in downtown Sacramento may be required. This is an open current position; OTS offers paid time off and strong compensation.

Work responsibilities will include:

• Develop project office documentation (e.g. Risk Management Plans, Project Schedules).
• Assist in the management of the project schedule.
• Develop requirements for a large procurement effort.
• Develop reports for use by the project as well as by external stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3yrs (within the past 5yrs) working on a State of CA project as a member of the Project Management team, implementing project management best practices.
• Minimum of 3yrs of California State project experience, within the past five (5) years, working in a lead capacity with various stakeholders to gather, develop, write, document, and manage business requirements and processes.
• State of CA resident

Desirable requirements

• Active PMP certification
• Experience with the State of CA PAL process.
