The Home Loans Portfolio is responsible for the end-to-end management of ANZ’s Home Loans customers, products and systems. Our mission is to help customers buy, own and sell their homes in a fair, honest and efficient manner by offering simple home loan products that are easy to set up and use.
As the Business Analyst (Risk Infrastructure), you will be responsible for solution design & configuration, business architecture, controls design, and/or business analysis of decision solutions. You will be responsible to deliver and sustain Retail and Commercial Risk IT services aligned to Originations Decisioning, Portfolio Management, Collections Decisioning, Data Provisioning, Architecture & Design, Systems Controls services; including but not limited to Operating Model enforcement/improvement, end-to-end Release Train co-ordination, Bureau data investigations and corrections, Co-ordination of all regular business attestations, Annual reviews, Remediation of audit items, 1st line assurance and fulfilling ad-hoc requests from senior management.

Responsibilities:

Displaying Thought Leadership with respect to the design and/or development of Retail Risk policy and strategies that are geared towards supporting revenue uplift, improvement in operational effectiveness and cost out for the bank, as well as supporting the strategic direction, design, and effective use of risk infrastructure across the customer life cycle.
Supporting the Group’s Strategic customer objectives by maintaining stability of Australia Risk Infrastructure platforms and services
Enabling the efficient production of quality requirements and manage demand in a way that balances business need with the Technology strategy; industrialised while adhering to the ANZ Delivery Framework.
Supporting regulatory engagements, including those of a BAU nature, with relevant insights and updates on key topics and commitments made. Ensure Australia Risk Infrastructure solutions/assets comply with security policies and global regulatory requirements and meet appropriate risk appetites.

Role Type: 12-month secondment/fixed-term opportunity, Full-time
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Strong analytical, numerical, research and problem-solving proven ability to delivery Business and Technology solutions.
Proven technical capabilities and experience with data analytics/science and/or decision systems techniques and tools (e.g., SAS, SQL, R, Python, PowerCurve, Ab Initio, etc.).
Solid experience in risk management and/or technology, with exposure to credit and/or data lifecycle.
Skilled at the use of facts in discussions and communication with staff and peers.
Proven ability to communicate up (one level above) and amongst peer groups.
Well-developed written and oral skills.
Business analysis experience and/or related technical experience with a strong understanding of strategy configurations and the role it plays in Credit Risk management.
Excellent documentation skills to represent designs to be used by the delivery team, including interface mapping documents (known as PMDs), specification documents, User Stories, etc.
Proven ability to support release management activities by co-ordinating with Business and Tech stakeholders.
