We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst (100%) for a permanent position in our MX team (Smartphones, Tablets, Wearables) in Switzerland.
This role focuses on calculating and managing the division’s settlements, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Additionally, it offers back-office support to enhance operational efficiency within the team.
Role and Responsibilities
Your tasks, you…
- set and track monthly turnover targets, create reliable forecasts
- lead the management plan process for the upcoming year
- oversee short-term and long-term sell-in and sell-out forecasts for the turnover target-setting
- coordinate with Product Management & Supply Chain teams
- prepare for monthly sales deduction meetings, update plans in the system
- support the division promotion budget (Sales Deduction) by tracking and submitting budget requests
- analyze profitability via promotion cost simulations, update promotion SO lift impact
- create and update business reports showing promotion progress and results as well as expected market inventory levels
- serve as a single point of contact for turnover and promotion activity
- review operational processes, benchmark with others, identify improvements
- generate ad-hoc analyses upon stakeholder requests (HQ, finance, subsidiary management, division heads, key account managers)
Skills and Qualifications
Your profile, you…
- have a degree in business administration with a focus on management or financial accounting
- have a few years of work experience in a similar position and environment
- are proficient in databases, spreadsheets, and able to translate data into actionable insights
- have excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
- already have worked with SAP HANA Finance (FICO) or with a similar ERP system
- ideally have experience with BI systems (Power BI, SAP Analytics)
- are fluent in German and English
- have a strong “hands-on mentality” and consider analytical thinking and the preparation of figures to be your strengths
- have a professional appearance, very good communication skills, and an accurate working style
- are a proactive, team-oriented, and stress-resistant personality, experienced in global settings
