Business Analyst
The role consists in collecting and reporting weekly sales performance of Shiseido’s brands across multiple retailers within the selective beauty industry, curating relevant insights and offering actionable recommendation to the whole organization (Marketing, Commercial and digital teams) from a large data set.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about manipulating data and finding the right insights to help the business grow.
PROFILE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Experience in turning data into actionable insights, in deciphering the story that lies in the data to create compelling and insightful recommendations.
- Exceptional skills in data analysis, excel, deck creation, communicating and presenting
- Min. 5 years of experience in consumer insights, market or digital research field including:
- Experience with data and analytics reporting with a strong focus on insights generation
- Experience in market panel (Circana, Nielsen, IRI, Kantar, Euromonitor…)
- Experience in consumer trends (Mintel, WGSN, Spate, Google trends, Pinterest Trends…)
- Analytical with great attention to details
- Problem solving skils
- Passionate about creative storytelling with data
- Curious to learn (ad ’hoc, media, digital, social) and challenge oneself in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing multiple projects, stakeholders, and priorities simultaneously
- Excellent organisational and time management skills

Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyse retailer data and share with the wider UK business (by brand, SKU, retailer) on a weekly basis and report to EMEA on a monthly basis.
- Support the e-Retail and digital team with fact led decision making through new dashboards, digital data and internal new processes (Profitero, Intelliens, Similarweb)
- Collaborate with Finance and senior management to align on an annual category forecast, to build a 5-year vision
- Produce and update regular market and retail landscape presentations (Townhall, budget meetings, Global visits)
- Analyse, report and communicate the recent trends in consumer behaviour, Beauty industry and social media and coordinate internal competitive forum / workshops
- Coordinate and manage agencies’ deliverables and services, making sure the work is up to high quality standards (Circana, Euromonitor, Kantar, Mintel…)
- Support the Head of Data, Media and Insights on Adhoc research (audiences, decision journey, brand perception…)
