QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role with a focus on Business Intelligence, preferably in the real estate industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify the root cause of issues within real estate data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor communication to different audiences.
• Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation techniques.
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a strong plus.
• Experience with data visualization best practices is a plus.
• Understanding of real estate metrics and financial analysis is a plus.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Freedom Property Investors is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Business Analyst to join our growing Business Intelligence (BI) department. In this role, you will play a key part in transforming real estate data into actionable insights that empower data-driven decision making across the organisation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partner with stakeholders across various departments (e.g., Acquisitions, Property Management, Leasing) to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable BI requirements.
• Collaborate with the data engineering team to gather, clean, and transform data from various real estate management systems, financial systems, and external sources (e.g., market data providers).
• Develop and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to property performance, investment analysis, portfolio management, and tenant trends.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within real estate data to generate insightful reports and recommendations for optimizing investment strategies and improving operational efficiency.
• Communicate complex data findings in a clear, concise, and visually appealing manner to both technical and non-technical audiences (e.g., executive summaries, presentations).
• Stay up-to-date on the latest BI trends and technologies, recommending and implementing improvements to the BI infrastructure for enhanced data accessibility and utilization.
• Adhere to data quality standards and processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Participate in the development and implementation of new BI initiatives to support the company’s strategic goals.
• This role is requiring to work through Zoom for 8 hours with the camera on.
