Description:

The Business Analyst will partner with business leaders to provide input and guidance supporting Superior Plus’s Strategic Initiative Projects. The analyst will directly support our Project Leads and develop meaningful reporting and analyses to support organizational decision-making on critical projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or Business Management.
  • Audit experience a plus
  • Three to five years experience in business analysis, data analytics, or equivalent role.
  • Collaboration and Persuasion – Ability to work across the company at all levels to advocate change and influence outcomes in areas without any direct responsibility.
  • Working experience with MS Office and MS Power BI.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Work ethic - Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility and Problem Solver - The ability to multi-task, prioritize, and deliver in a fast-paced environment at a growing company.
  • Strong Communicator (written and verbal) - Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player who is comfortable participating in a variety of multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with functional leads and project managers to develop key performance indicators to measure project success.
  • Gather raw data from various sources
  • Organize data into clear data sets, review, and perform detailed analysis to identify patterns and trends to develop insights and evaluate business objectives.
  • Visually represent data to Leadership and Stakeholders
  • Interpret results – Assessing and determining the success of the specific initiatives
  • Determine best practices to support standard reporting, monitoring, and management of critical financial and non-financial performance indicators.
  • Work proactively to Identify potential opportunities for improvement; develop and prioritize solutions to meet Strategic Initiative goals.
  • Communicate insights and findings to stakeholders; provide recommendations based on analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the company.
  • Actively participate in learning and understanding our business operations and challenges and develop deep relationships with both business stakeholders and project teams.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.
