JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:
Responsible for implementing new IT initiatives and business processes, as well as enhancements to existing implementations.
Work closely with IT, management, operations and key stakeholders across the Group to understand and document business needs and system requirements.
Assist in focusing these needs and see projects through to delivery.
A particular focus of the role is identifying and understanding the Business Intelligence (“BI”) requirements of the company, developing solutions and dashboards to meet these requirements.
Identify ways of presenting and analysing data to improve customer and user experience as well as identify ways to improve operational excellence.
Provide post implementation support where required.
Work extensively on the Carlo Transport Management System & BI applications, involved in setup, configuration, maintenance and daily operational use.
This will include managing development, testing and all elements of user training for BI tools as well as TMS system functionality when required.
Analyse and investigate variances between the TMS and BI.
Enhancement of our BI offering and ensuring we’re keeping up with industry trends.
Continuous enhancement and optimisation of the existing data model.

List of Key Result Areas:

• Elicit and understand business requirements.
• Compile business requirements and technical requirements documentation.
• Document business processes.
• Generate work breakdown structures.
• Own projects from inception to delivery.
• Manage business expectations and maintain communication throughout projects.
• Training of users.
• Testing of new systems, enhancements or support issues.
• Maintenance of existing systems.
• Enhance and grow the BI offering.

Key Performance indicators to be adhered to include:
1. New projects and functionalities are implemented successfully.
2. Independence and ownership of projects.
3. Continuous enhancement/ development the Carlo TMS and BI solutions to align with current and future business processes
4. Development of accurate Business Information (BI) dashboards and statistics in order for the business to make better operational and management decisions.
5. Manage and update your tasks on our work platform, currently Jira and MS Teams.

INHERENT REQUIREMENTS

Relevant Qualification
Business Analyst/Supply Chain Analyst experience
Preferably in the logistics industry
Office based, no hybrid or remote working

WHAT QUALIFICATION

Business Analyst or related

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

Diploma
