Description:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree - ideally in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Econometrics
  • Previous analytical work experience
  • Strong data analysis skills, ability to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data
  • Experience in mathematical modeling (statistics, optimization, econometrics)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences.
  • Good team player and the ability to work with a wide cross-section of people in various locations
  • Creative and ideas-driven in finding new solutions/ designing innovative methods, systems and processes.
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
    The goal of Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is to build a world class last mile operation. Amazon aims to exceed the expectations of our customers by ensuring that their orders are delivered quickly, accurately, and in the most cost effective way possible. The Capacity Planning Team provides AMZL with cost-optimal and flexible capacity solutions for in-station operations, year-round and enabling the business to scale for seasonal peak demand increases. This role is based out of the London corporate office LHR16
    In order to support the fast growth of AMZL, we are constantly monitoring, evaluating and adjusting our planning inputs and insights. As an Analyst, Analytics & Insights in the Capacity Planning Team, you will translate key strategic questions into insights and forecasting planning inputs, having a direct impact on decision made by the team to ensure we are constantly improving our planning quality and processes.
    This position requires high judgement, excellent analytical abilities and a creative mind to invent solutions to existing problems. It also offers broad exposure to various business, operational, financial, and technical teams across Amazon.
