Description:

Overview:
At the RSC we embrace flexibility and offer hybrid working, which means our teams come together when they need to collaborate.
Although this role is contractually based at our Cambridge office, you will be able to work from home within the UK, with the expectation that you will attend the office as needed for your role.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Solid understanding of business analysis principles, methodologies, and tools, with proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex business problems, analyse data, and provide practical solutions.
  • Proficiency in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation techniques, such as interviews, workshops, user stories, and process modelling.
  • Experience in facilitating meetings, workshops, and interviews to gather requirements and drive consensus among stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of business process modelling and analysis techniques, such as BPMN or UML, to visually represent current and future states of processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

  • Certification in business analysis, such as CBAP or CCBA, demonstrating a strong foundation in business analysis principles and practices.
  • Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and the ability to adapt and apply agile practices to business analysis activities.

Responsibilities:

We are currently looking for a Mid-level Business Analyst for a maternity cover with an expected start date in July. As Business Analyst you will play a critical role in supporting the analysis, design, and implementation of business processes, systems, and solutions within our organisation. Working closely with stakeholders and project teams, you will help identify business needs, gather requirements, and develop innovative solutions to address challenges and drive improvements.
This role requires a solid understanding of business analysis principles, methodologies, and tools, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
