Description:

We are seeking an experienced Business Application Manager to oversee the administration and optimization of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance environment. As a Business Application Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of Dynamics 365 Finance while ensuring compliance with international financial reporting standards (IFRS).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field. Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) is a plus.
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) as a Dynamics 365 Finance administrator or similar role, with a strong understanding of system architecture, administration, configuration, and customization.
  • Proficiency in configuring and customizing Dynamics 365 Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash and Bank Management, and Budgeting.
  • Strong knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and their application within financial management systems like Dynamics 365 Finance.
  • Experience with reporting tools within the Dynamics 365 Finance environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and recommend effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Project management experience, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and coordinate resources effectively.
  • Proficiency in both English and German languages for effective communication with international teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance environment, including user access, security roles, configurations, and integrations.
  • Collaborate closely with finance and accounting teams to understand business processes and translate them into system requirements and configurations
  • Manage ongoing system updates, patches, and enhancements.
  • Stay updated on changes and updates in Dynamics 365 Finance and assess their potential impact on the organization’s operations.
  • Lead or contribute to projects related to system upgrades, migrations, integrations, and process improvements within Dynamics 365 Finance.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing controls and validations as needed.
  • Collaborate with IT and vendor support teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and system performance concerns.
  • Ensure, together with finance and accounting teams, compliance with international financial reporting standards (IFRS) in system configurations, financial transactions, and reporting processes.
