A leading private company in New Zealand is currently on the lookout for a Business Application Lead. The ideal candidate should have 4-8 years of experience in supporting Dynamics 365 (FinOp) applications and be capable of spearheading the company’s application utilisation.
This role involves taking charge of the company’s key business applications, guiding the company through its growth in business and digital capabilities. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for ensuring the smooth operation of business applications across the network, demonstrating comprehensive hands-on technical and functional knowledge of MS Dynamics 365 (FinOps) Application. This position is integral to the company’s digital transformation journey.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
• A Microsoft Dynamics expert, with 4-8 years of experience in application support
• Extensive experience supporting MS Dynamics 365 FinOps applications
• Strong business analyst and project management skills
• Ability to communicate to non-technical people to take technical requirements for applications
• Strong understanding of Dynamic365 administration, and application support
• Experience working with vendors for application support and or development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The Business Application Lead will play a pivotal role in steering and managing the internal strategy, setup, and support of the company’s applications throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of successfully delivering top-tier application support services, from engaging with key business stakeholders and users, to understanding business requirements, and providing configuration and support.

• As the Microsoft Dynamics 365v(FinOps) expert, you will be l eading the direction for and managing the support of the companies’ applications from updates, solution designs, configurations, tests, and deployments
• Analysing and rigorously testing new functionalities and changes from release upgrades, including both minor and major updates
• Collaborating with key business stakeholders and users to gather business requirements, which subsequently guide the configuration and support processes
• Ensuring robust core Dynamics 365 platform (FinOps) application support, performing administration system configuration, and testing support during implementation phases
• Maintaining and updating system and integration interfaces diligently
• Working with other teams to ensure the smooth operation of their Business Applications
• Managing the relationship with vendor application support
• Providing training and support to end users
