Description:

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Senior Economist, you will develop your commercial and economic capabilities working with our high-profile public and private sector clients from the earliest stages of analysis, project evaluation to procurement, financial close, construction and operations. You will assist our clients in devising strategy, assessing economic impacts, comparing financial plans, delivery approaches and provide support to our clients in their implementation of those plans.

Responsibilities:

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Providing strategic, economic, commercial and financial advice to clients
  • Involve in financial model development and analysis
  • Involve in public sector policy analysis using quantitative economic analysis and market research
  • Growth Strategy - assisting the client with developing a long-range, multi-year view of growth options and strategic recommendations
  • Strategic Planning - designing a sustainable process and tools for a client to run effective strategic, long-range, and initiative investment planning processes
  • Develop and drive account-planning, as well as sales and delivery of service offerings
  • Manage and control commercial aspects of the project delivery, including forecasting, budgeting and resource allocation

TO QUALIFY FOR THE ROLE YOU MUST HAVE

  • Understanding of economic evaluation methods including cost benefit analysis and economic impact analysis, including use of econometric techniques
  • Experience in financial and data analysis
  • Knowledgeable in public sector policies such as industrial and investment policies
  • Experience in Government & Public Sectors
