- A formal education or qualification in Business Continuity Management preferred. Alternatively you may hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, finance or a science.
- Previous experience in the full Business Continuity life cycle including business impact analysis and risk assessment.
- Knowledge of BC standards and best practices, and risk management.
- Additional experience in information technology, finance and/or supply chain management would be an advantage.
- An understanding of end to end value chains.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English both written and spoken.
- Effective strategic problem solving and analytical skills.
- A willingness to undertake advanced security checks.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver Business Continuity (BC) advisory services, including business impact analysis, continuity plans and procedures.
- Deliver relevant training, exercises and courses, including building relevant scenarios to stress-test plans.
- Collaborate with IT staff to develop and implement Disaster Recovery best practices, and ensuring all personnel with specific BC responsibilities are adequately trained to fulfill those responsibilities.
- Participate in BC self-assessments, audits and reviews, and implement agreed actions.
- Be a member of the on-duty response system, acting as a BC Officer after a disruption event, coordinating with the emergency and crisis management teams if required.
- Perform other relevant tasks in Crisis and Continuity Management as requested
