The firm’s international team of more than 450 legal professionals represents Luxembourg and foreign clients in all areas of Luxembourg business law from its main office in Luxembourg and representative offices in Hong Kong, London, New York and Paris.Our service to clients is differentiated by the end to end specialist advice we offer, covering all legal, regulatory, taxation and advisory aspects of doing business in Luxembourg.Our firm advises international and domestic clients in all areas of business law relevant to their business activities, ranging from fund formation, banking, insurance, private equity and real estate to corporate and tax matters.As a result of the continuous increase of our activities, we are currently looking for a:Business Continuity ManagerBased in KirchbergUnder the supervision of the Group Chief Operating Officer, the Business Continuity Manager will collaborate with Department Directors team to develop and implement plans to anticipate, address, and mitigate the effects of various business interruptions across the different entities of Arendt.Your role:Develop and maintain a business recovery plan and procedure; review, revise, and expand existing plans and protocols.Conduct risk assessments for various departments and functions, analyzing potential business impact of unpredictable business interruptions such as natural disasters and security breach.Collaborate with IT staff to develop and implement best practices to protect and restore data and systems in the event of natural disasters, viruses, and hackers.Identify and implement recovery operations and methods to allow the company to function at limited or partial capacity in the event that part or all of the infrastructure is damaged or destroyed.Create and facilitate practice drills for plan execution.Develop and provide staff training on risk management and disaster recovery.Work with health, safety, and security staff to align the organizations emergency management plan with established best practices and community standards.Perform other related duties as assigned.Your profile:You hold a master’s degree in Finance or IT or Economics or any related field.You have a minimum of eight years of experience in Business Continuity and Crisis Management, with at least two years in a risk management position.You are fluent in French and English, written and spoken.You have a thorough understanding of risk management.Excellent strategic, problem solving, and analytical skills.Ability to think through hypothetical situations and concepts and to identify risks and weaknesses in various business processes.Ability to collaborate with others to develop an emergency plan.Excellent communication skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.We Offer:A permanent position (possibility to work on a part time basis);An entrepreneurial working environment giving priority to team work;A hybrid working environment offering flexibility and the possibility to work from home;A challenging role within a renowned organization;A multicultural environment where we promote diversity, talent & ideas;The ability to work and interact with a wide variety of specialists;Internal trainings and career development.Interested?If you are interested in this job opportunity, we are looking forward to receiving your application.All applications will be treated confidentially.#A&MAbout ArendtArendt & Medernach (A&M) is dedicated to providing top-quality legal services.
