Responsibilities:
- Good experience in banking industry with diverse knowledge of the bank’s operations
- Extensive business continuity knowledge and experience
- Preferred knowledge of CPS230 Operational Risk
- Preferred Business Continuity Institute accreditation
- Strong level of experience in using the Operational Risk Management Frameworks
- Deliver on projects and demonstrate project management skills and tools to effectively manage deliverables
- Strong verbal and writing communication skills that demonstrate ability to build relationships with all levels of the business
This role is a 12 month fixed term contract. We offer flexible work options that put our people first, including a hybrid model with a minimum of two days per week based out of our Head Offices.
Organisational Resilience (OR) assists business units to absorb and adapt in a changing environment to protect or sustain its critical business services and resources. OR work with business units and Line one BCM Risk & Compliance to identify the critical business processes (linked to Critical Operations), functions and resources that are vital in maintaining BEN’s Critical Operations through severe disruptions.
This position is part of the CPS230 project for Operational Risk, which is part of Risk & Compliance Initiatives. As a Business Continuity Specialist you’ll get to:
- For Critical operations assess tolerance levels across the Group (in conjunction with Line 1) that would have a material impact on BEN’s depositors, policyholders, beneficiaries or other customers or in our role in the financial system.
Support Line 1 in various areas including:
- reassessment of critical business processes to provide an end to end view of the Critical Operation
- Delivery of the Testing program tailored to the material risks focused at testing the Critical Operation
- Uplift in material service providers and reliance of 4th parties and downstream to ensure these parties can execute its BCP if needed
