Description:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- University graduate or equivalent
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ideally first time passes)
- 3-5 years’ working experience at part/qualified level, preferably in the field of logistics operations
SKILLS:
- Proven track record as an effective business partner
- Very good analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills
- Excellent MS Excel skills
- JBA TM1 skills, Logistics tool skills preferable
- Proactive and able to work under pressure
- Assertive, persistent and able to challenge
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Able to influence, negotiate and resolve conflicts
Responsibilities:
- The Business Controller oversees and reports on the Financial findings and performance resulting from the Business Operations during the reporting period.
- Be a Finance Business Partner to Country Management, Product Management, Station Management, Sales Management and Regional Management.
- Monitors and Measures Product / Station performance, Target achievements, drives root-cause analysis on KPI’s such as Product / Station / File profitability, Cost of Sales, variance analysis, GP/EBIT conversion, etc.)
- Drives month end process as a Product / Station Controller. Drives a feedback / commentary process with Product teams on periodic performance and anomalies.
- Works as an adviser for Business Operations on behalf of Regional / Global Finance Controlling to drive standard optimised best practices.
- Coordinates Planning and Forecasting processes.
- Initiates development of action plans, follows up and monitors implementation/effects
- Facilitates strategy implementation, decision-making, process and management reviews
- Proactively identifies trends, opportunities, risks.
