Capral is seeking a sharp and curious Junior Business Data Analyst to join our dynamic Master Data team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various teams to unearth valuable data from internal sources (like SAP BW, Phocus) and external sources (using web scraping, data extraction, and Natural Language Processing).
- Unleash the power of programming languages like SQL and Python to manipulate and analyse data within context.
- Craft compelling data visualisations using industry-leading BI tools like Power BI, CoPilot, and Tableau.
- Develop AI/ML models and statistical analyses to uncover market trends, optimise processes, and make informed forecasts.
- Bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, tackling key challenges and unlocking new opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to identify lucrative market gaps and guide strategic decision-making.
- Implement data-driven strategies to target potential importers and solidify Capral’s competitive edge.
- Design and build data visualisation dashboards that effectively communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
- Continuously monitor and refine data models and analyses, ensuring ongoing accuracy and relevance.
- Stay on top of the latest trends and technologies in data analytics, BI, and programming, proposing innovative solutions to drive business growth.
