About the role
Do you want to work with a modern product portfolio for the next generation of offering to our welfare industry and society? Do you have deep domain knowledge about the municipality’s welfare and social care? As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Developer specializing in mergers and acquisitions within our welfare domain that will help us to continue to expand our business towards the Swedish and Norwegian municipality market. Our company is growing, and now we are looking for great people to join us!
As a Business Developer, you will be working with driving our expansion through partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions. Leveraging your deep domain knowledge, analytical skills, and hands-on approach, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust M&A pipeline, ensuring strategic growth opportunities are identified and executed seamlessly.

With us, you will:

  • Work with implementing the M&A strategy for the welfare and social care sector
  • Identify and assess potential acquisition targets in alignment with the company’s objectives
  • Build and maintain a strong M&A pipeline, constantly evaluating and prioritizing opportunities
  • Conduct thorough due diligence to assess the financial, operational, and cultural compatibility of potential targets
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the sector
  • Analyze market data to identify new growth opportunities and potential risks
  • Contribute to developing a positive atmosphere and working culture, working tight together with your colleagues

We are looking for someone with

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar, preferably with a focus on the welfare area or finance
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions, preferable within areas targeting the municipal sector
  • Deep domain knowledge primarily of the Swedish welfare and social care landscape, knowledge about the Nordic and European market is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex business scenarios
  • Results-driven and proactive, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Strong understanding of the municipal market and its decision-making processes
  • Strong understanding of Modern software company
  • Excellent Swedish and English skills
