EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Roughly, between three and eight years’ experience in business development and/or marketing in professional services.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively build relationships with partners and other key stakeholders.
- Ideally, a proven track record in identifying opportunities and developing strategic business development plans to pursue and win work, leading or supporting BD planning efforts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans in collaboration with partners to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including partners and other fee earners to enhance business growth and client retention.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to advise on potential legal services demand and new market opportunities.
- Lead and coordinate pitches and proposals, ensuring alignment with the firm’s strategic goals and client needs.
- Manage and mentor junior staff within the business development team to build departmental expertise (where appropriate).
- Organise and participate in networking and industry events to enhance firm visibility and develop new business leads.
- Track and report on business development activities and outcomes, adjusting strategies as necessary.
