Responsibilities:

ROLE SUMMARY:

As Business Development and Admissions Manager, you will be responsible for the acquisition and conversion process, including the outreach to businesses, recruitment events and supporting the retention strategy for the expansions plans of the leading independent school in West Auckland. Reporting to the Principal and the Head of Customer Acquisition & Experience (APAC), you will be promoting ACG Sunderland, an established co-educational, secular, premium independent school based in Henderson, West Auckland. Set on 9 acres it delivers a premium Cambridge curriculum education to students in Years 0-13 in a supportive environment where each child is encouraged and challenged to reach their full academic and personal potential. The successful candidate will bring innovative thinking and have a collaborative style in working with the Head of School, the Head of Admissions and the broader Inspired Group to take actions that enhance enrolment and retention outcomes for the school.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To implement the admissions commercial strategy (focused on school promotion, student acquisition and retention from enquiry to enrolment) for the school, working closely with the Head of CX, the Principal, the Head of Admissions and Group marketing team.
  • Work with Admissions colleagues and/or guide the Head of School and SLT to achieve sales targets, ensuring they have the knowledge, training and support to deliver a customer-centred service to support student growth.
  • Lead, develop and be fully responsible for maintaining accurate data in school systems, undertaking data analysis that enables responsive decision-making through the enrolment process and accurate forecasting during annual planning.
  • Deliver best-in-class tours for prospective parents and partnership prospects (businesses, embassies etc). These will be conducted throughout the year (within and out of term time as required).
  • Ensure service standards and quality assurance procedures are met and evolve with parent expectations and needs.
  • Ensure admissions, conversion approach and associated processes enable the school to optimise achievement of student recruitment targets with significant accountability for conversion from enquiry to application and application to enrolment.
