Description:

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our team. The Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients, and expanding our client base. This role requires strong communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for driving business growth.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 10-year experience in marketing, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the engineering or construction industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical abilities, with a focus on identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities.
  • Results-oriented mindset, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and business objectives.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of the engineering and construction industry and relevant market trends is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify new business opportunities, including potential clients, projects, and partnerships.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and acquire new clients, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and project management, to develop tailored solutions and proposals for clients.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring that terms and conditions are favorable and aligned with company objectives.
  • Track and report on sales and business development activities, including pipeline development, revenue forecasts, and client feedback.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
