JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and executing marketing strategies to attract potential clients. You will work closely with our Sales and Customer Success teams to drive growth and ensure customer satisfaction. We’re a growing legal tech startup that empowers Nigerian entrepreneurs and their investors worldwide with comprehensive, accessible, and affordable legal and business support services. Our mission is to help clients navigate the complexities of doing business in Africa’s largest economy with confidence and ease.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Provable experience in business development, lead generation, or marketing roles
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales and marketing targets
  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian business landscape (legal is a plus too)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g. Mailchimp, Google Analytics, LinkedIn, and Twitter)
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement lead generation strategies to identify and attract potential clients
  • Qualify inbound leads and conduct outbound prospecting to generate sales opportunities
  • Schedule appointments and product demonstrations for business owners
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to develop and execute account-based marketing campaigns
  • Manage digital marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., social media, email, paid advertising)
  • Analyze marketing campaign performance and provide data-driven insights to optimize results
  • Maintain accurate records of lead generation and marketing activities in our CRM system
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in legal tech and business development
