We’re hiring for a Business Development Associate Director as part of Dentsu Global in London.
Purpose of the Role
As part of the global new business team, you will be at the forefront of the industry’s major media, digital and performance pitches. From $100m to billion-dollar media accounts it will be your responsibility to work with peers and colleagues to mount a market-leading and ‘winning’ pitch that outshines competitive agencies. Driving incremental revenue growth and helping to scale Dentsu’s global client roster for both new and existing clients is central to this position.
A critical task within your role will be to support key aspects of the end-to-end pitch process. This includes market intelligence, analysis, coordination, management, and alignment of project pitch deliverables. As part of a global team, collaboration, onboarding, and careful management of market resources is crucial. A high degree of local market support will be required at all times. It will be an opportunity for you to work with different countries, cultures, and people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting the global Business Development team in meeting Dentsu management revenue targets through prospecting, new business, and client growth.
  • Leading where appropriate on pitches/ business development projects from end-to-end with the oversight/ support of the Business Development Director
  • Supporting and/or project managing where appropriate delivery of global, regional, and multi-market pitches.
  • Project manage and/or support the innovative delivery of RFIs and RFPs as well as the development of creative content, including global collateral, case studies, and credentials.
  • Supporting pitch teams in a variety of functions: production, facilitating brainstorms, competitive research, data requirements, logistics, rehearsals, and pitch theatre
  • Providing strategic support, identification of pitch teams, and team resourcing feeds into Commercial alignment/proposition.

Qualifications + Skills

  • 6+Years of Business Development/Client Servicing experience within the Media industry
  • Knowledge of ATL and BTL marketing strategies
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • The ability to adapt and work in a pressurised – ever-changing environment.
  • Experience in end-to-end pitch processes, including market intelligence, analysis, management, and project pitch deliverables.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders/markets.
  • Strong communication skills
