WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Preferred: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing or similar discipline
  • Once in the role employees are required to obtain and maintain a P&C license What We’re Looking For

Experience:

  • 0-2 years of related experience preferred.
  • Insurance or related financial products industry experience a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM a plus
  • Exposure to a corporate environment via internship or other work experience preferred High School Diploma

Responsibilities:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Associate to join our team, responsibilities include:

  • Perform outbound sales activities such as cold-calling, lead follow-up, email campaigns, and sales qualification
  • Quickly build a rapport with agencies by effectively describing the Companys services and products in a manner that generates interest
  • Manage, grow, and develop brand awareness in assigned territory
  • Identify opportunities through engaging with broker partners
  • Utilize underwriting portfolio strategy to qualify new business submissions
  • Serve as subject matter expert on products and services offered and stay up to date on messaging and content, sales tactics, strategy and internal processes related to inside sales development
  • Ensure underwriters and underwriting operations have the information needed to move forward with submissions
  • Consistently capture and track sales prospecting activity in Salesforce well as enter new contact information acquired through pipeline follow-up and lead generation campaigns
  • Consistently meet monthly new business submission, quote ratio and bound account goals
  • Represent the company with professionalism during every prospective and existing client interaction
  • Support company-wide marketing and sales initiatives
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
