REQUIREMENTS

Our future Dialectica team member has

  • Undergraduate degree or higher with a solid academic performance and extracurricular leadership demonstration
  • Demonstrable research and problem solving capabilities combined with a proactive, self-starter attitude
  • Demonstrable interest in the financial services sector, particularly private markets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and in teams - open to travel to spend time with teams in other offices
  • A degree of flexibility and creativity in how they approach situations

Responsibilities:

The Private Equity desk at Dialectica is experiencing strong growth, resulting in opportunities for talented and ambitious business development individuals to work directly with some of the world’s leading private markets investment firms. This is a role that will challenge and develop one’s commercial acumen, strategic thinking, analytical skills and client service capabilities.
The Business Development Associate will be responsible for attracting new Private Equity accounts by prospecting new accounts, creating original strategies to onboard new users, creating and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring clients achieve success while using our service, and maximising usage of our capabilities.

This is a London-based role that will focus on enabling Dialectica’s further expansion in EMEA and/or NAMER-based Private Equity accounts and will work closely & have regular interaction with our Client Service team.

  • Develop a deep understanding of Dialectica’s service portfolio
  • Drive new client acquisition and business origination through selective team/account targeting and identification of key stakeholders within accounts of interest
  • Engage with target professionals to understand their unique information needs and scope how Dialectica can support them
  • Position Dialectica’s value proposition to ensure project generation and new client sign-ups through the leveraging of headlines and news from research platforms
  • Take ownership of the complete sales life cycle process (prospect to project generation and client onboarding)
  • Collaborate with a variety of Client Service/internal teams to maximize the use of our service
  • Assist in the creation of marketing material and customized content for key accounts
  • Monitor news and target account updates to develop compelling content for leads
