Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Business Development Consultant, you’ll be the liaison between Marketing and Sales teams, seeking new business opportunities by contacting and cultivating relationships with potential customers. You will have a track record of developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas, using your communication skills to strengthen customer relationships from first contact to closing deals, and ensuring excellent post-sale service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive demand for ACTO solutions through innovative social selling and proactive outbound cold calling.
  • Qualify prospects and produce quality leads for the Sales Team, advancing our footprint within the Top 50 Pharma companies.
  • Identify and drive product expansion opportunities by nurturing high-value relationships with existing customers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop territory and account strategies, focusing on demand generation and achieving desired results.
  • Maintain and update all sales activities and opportunities on Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of ACTO’s technology, market territories, accounts, competitors, and industry trends.
  • Develop robust customer relationships to facilitate introductions with ACTO’s business development executives.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree (GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred) with 1-2 years of related work experience.
  • Proven sales skills, tenacity, strategic thinking capabilities, and the ability to remain focused and follow through.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to articulate complex concepts.
  • Competitive, persuasive, professional, and a confident leader.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • A problem solver with an interest in technology, process improvement, and customer interaction.
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to achieve individual objectives and contribute to team success.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills to understand in-depth role-related processes and technical concepts.
