JOB OVERVIEW:

As a Business Development Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in orchestrating and facilitating various business development activities in collaboration with the Industry Vice President of Sales. We’re seeking an adaptable individual with a foundational understanding of B2B sales, exceptional coordination skills, and a proactive approach to driving sales initiatives.

SKILLS:

  • Proven experience in a sales or business development role, particularly in a B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Highly organized with excellent time management abilities, capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and environments.
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a drive to achieve and exceed targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage initial inbound inquiries, effectively assessing and routing them to the appropriate channels within the sales team.
  • Actively engage in outbound prospecting efforts, identifying and nurturing potential leads through strategic communication and relationship-building.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Sales to strategize and execute on business development plans, ensuring alignment with overall sales objectives.
  • Coordinate and track all stages of the sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring timely follow-ups and progression of prospects.
  • Utilize CRM systems and other tools to maintain accurate and updated records of leads, interactions, and sales activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales materials, presentations, and proposals as needed to support sales efforts.
