Description:

WHAT WILL YOUR JOB LOOK LIKE?

  • Develop and execute business development strategy and targeting approach for pharmaceutical and biotech companies
  • Meet and exceed individual sales objectives, including revenue, gross profit and growth goals
  • Identify, profile, and research potential clients to prepare a target list and associated action plans including priorities
  • Utilize network and referrals to proactively prospect new business targets
  • Manage a sales pipeline of prospects, opportunities, and live proposals
  • Deliver capability presentations, expertly describing service offerings and highlighting differentiators
  • Identify clients project needs, including any new service needs and feedback into the commercial strategy
  • Negotiate contracts directly with clients, liaising with internal stakeholders as required
  • Work alongside Account Managers to prepare proposals
  • Work with Account Managers to ensure the timely delivery of all awarded projects, acting as a commercial escalation point as required
  • Feedback any useful client or competitor intelligence that will help to continually develop the overall sales strategy
  • Work with the marketing team to co-ordinate and execute the marketing plan, ensuring up to date marketing materials are always available and in line with the changing demands of the industry
  • Attend conferences and networking events as required
  • Provide exceptional service to clients demonstrating the Bionical Emas’ commitment to excellent service delivery
  • Ensure all enquiries are responded to within agreed client service level expectation
  • Regularly update clients on Group services and the benefits of working with Bionical Emas as a sole service provider across the product clinical development lifecycle
  • Understand and exceed client value drivers and service expectations
  • Ensure client activity levels are tracked, agreeing minimal activity levels with line manager
  • Liaise with client study team and account management to manage enquiries and understand upcoming requirement pipeline

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Business Development Director to identify, engage and win new clinical trial supply clients for the CTS division. Your role will be to prospect new clients and engage agreed existing clients to generate new business opportunities working with the Account management team and other supporting departments to deliver proposals and capabilities presentations.
