JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Client is an American Technology (Global Payments) MNC company that is looking for a Director of a joint Venture Partnership to join the company in growing the regional brand (Japan, Singapore, Korea).

【 What you will be doing 】

  • Responsible for all aspects of joint venture partnerships, including strategy, partnership structure, sales and customer success, and Go-To-Market strategy to grow the team’s contributions to the business
  • Develop annual/quarterly OKR targets, monitor the OKR progress and implement improvements to the existing processes
  • Drive alignment between the joint venture and cross-functional teams
  • Deliver periodic presentations on the progress of joint venture business to senior leaders
  • Accountable for managing partnership agreements between the company and the joint venture, collaborating closely with the legal team.
  • Handle related partnership initiatives outside of the joint venture
  • Explore and execute transformational business opportunities in Japan & Korea, commit to expanding the business footprint regionally

REQUIREMENT

【 What they are looking for 】

  • Up to 15 years of experience in strategic partnership and business development to acquire new clients
  • Proficiency in English and Japanese (JLPT N1) Listening/Writing/Speaking is essential to read contracts written in Japanese
  • Strong understanding of financial services (payments), Fintech, crypto in FinTech and the crypto industry landscape in Japan and Korea
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a self-starter with a strong interest in creating a new business ecosystem around crypto and blockchain

  • Industry experience from financial technology(Fintech) and enterprise software background
  • Posses MBA or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to achieving excellence.
  • Takes initiative with a high level of motivation to achieve outcomes autonomously.
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced global environment, collaborating with numerous internal and external stakeholders.
