OPPORTUNITY:

Recurrent is seeking a Business Development Director responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue and growth

Responsibilities

  • Research, identify and negotiate new business opportunities by studying market trends, analyzing customer needs, and networking with industry professionals for multiple in house brands.
  • Create licensing and distribution partnerships for Recurrent’s growing portfolio of video content. This will include but not be limited to CTV, FAST, AVOD services.
  • Build, lead, and scale high performance relationships with the top industry partners like YouTube, Pinterest, Meta and others.
  • Maintain and build on company’s knowledge base and give input for AI licensing strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding the needs of each brand, addressing concerns, and proposing solutions.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify competitive threats and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to develop strategies for business growth for all digital media platforms.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, such as sales targets, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction over multiple brands.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Measurable & quantifiable skills, education
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Licensing experience.
  • Partnership or business development experience working with technology platform partners such as Google, Meta.
  • Working knowledge of AI platforms.
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or related roles.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving revenue growth.
