Description:

D3 Technologies is seeking a highly-motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive with a proven track record of success uncovering opportunities, growing existing accounts, and generating new business. Covering a defined geographic location, the Business Development Executive (BDE) Manufacturing (MFG) will focus on introducing Team D3 products and Services into new and existing client accounts. The purpose is to have better conversations with c-level personnel to uncover needs with their organization. The BDE is then to provide solutions based on the pain said companies are experiencing. This role will involve managing and prioritizing opportunities, qualifying potential new clients, understanding client’s business drivers, building relationships, presenting solutions, and assisting in closing the business.
The Business Development Executive will control their own success by driving revenue through proactively targeting and building strategic relationships with new and existing clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven success in sales of software products & services
  • Experienced in selling in a high activity environment
  • College degree or equivalent work experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Highly motivated and competitive
  • Disciplined approach to client follow-up
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, CRM, and online applications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting calls into and sales development of new customers, new logos, Generate leads through new channels
  • Begin to build strategic relationships within target accounts
  • Asks for introductions and leverages referrals
  • Achieving assigned performance metrics
  • Possess technical understanding of customer’s business objectives in order to map a strategy consisting of software, training, and implementation as a solution to those business objectives
  • Timely follow up and follow through on leads received
  • Establish long term, mutually beneficial relationships with new customers
  • Consistent use of a defined sales process
  • Document all account sales activity in CRM
  • Maintain product and industry knowledge
  • Client communication to include notification of policy changes, product promos, etc.
  • Emphasis on customer satisfaction, retention and subscription renewals (software and services)
  • Work closely with Autodesk Sales Team
  • Work closely with Team D3 Sales Team
  • Adherence to Sandler sales principles
  • Other duties as assigned.
