As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic and motivated Business Development Intern to join our team and contribute to our exciting journey.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in business development, sales, and the logistics/e-commerce industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively in a team environment.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn. Ability to take initiative and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and research skills. Ability to synthesize information and present findings clearly and concisely.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitor activities. Provide actionable insights to the business development team.
- Lead Generation: Assist in identifying and generating leads through various channels, including online research, networking events, and industry publications.
- Client Outreach: Support the business development team in reaching out to potential clients via email, phone calls, and social media. Help in scheduling meetings and follow-up communications.
- Proposal Development: Assist in the preparation and development of business proposals, presentations, and sales materials. Ensure all documents are well-organized, accurate, and professionally presented.
- Data Management: Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate and current information on leads, prospects, and clients. Ensure data integrity and provide regular reports to the team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless flow of information and support for business development initiatives.
- Event Support: Assist in organizing and participating in industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to promote GoGo Xpress and its services.
- Learning & Development: Take part in training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programs to develop a strong understanding of the logistics and e-commerce industry, as well as essential business development skills.
