Responsibilities:

ROLE DESCRIPTION

An opportunity has just become available and we’re looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager within Allianz Commercial to join our team in London. The ideal candidate will manage some of our most significant accounts.
Based In London and reporting to the London Market Manager, you will be responsible for growing the Allianz Commercial Mid-Market portfolio through your assigned panel of brokers. Through Pipelining, retention, cross-sell and relationship management, you will facilitate growth across multiple Commercial product lines. You will be the focal point for insights into your brokers and the London market.

As a Senior Business Development Manager in the team, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape and develop the future of the team.

  • Leads the management of assigned key broker accounts for Allianz UK in the London Market through excellent relationship management
  • Plans, implements and delivers the development of broker relationships and strategic business plans for assigned accounts, consistently monitoring and managing performance against these plans and taking relevant actions to ensure delivery of required results
  • Acts as the relationship lead (internally and externally) for assigned accounts to ensure Allianz achieves the maximum benefit from these relationships and also delivers on our client commitments
  • Plays an active role in driving distribution disciplines and innovative business development initiatives
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements
