Payoneer is looking for a highly talented Business Development Manager, to be based in our Singapore office, reporting directly into the Head of Sales. The incumbent will be tasked to enable millions of SMBs and professional businesses in SEA to get paid globally with Payoneer’s fast, flexible, secure and low-cost solutions. Your responsibilities will include increasing business adoption and market penetration for Payoneer’s products and services. Working in a dynamic sales environment you will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying and recruiting SMBs and professionals on the Payoneer platform.
The ideal candidate is energetic, motivated self-starter who is able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. You bring a business development/Sales background that enables you to drive engagement with respective stakeholders. You have strong initiative, solid written/verbal communication skills, unflagging attention to detail and an overall commitment to excellence. You are a passionate, committed professional with a keen sense of people, high intellect/intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic and accountability.
Responsibilities:
- Minimum of 5 years as a top quota carrying business development manager, with a track record of outperforming targets and annual quotas
- Proven success in selling payments or ecommerce solutions to SMB customers will be advantageous
- Superior verbal and written communication skills in English is a must
- Ability to build strong relationships, as demonstrated through prior experience prospecting and leveraging industry contacts to develop and close new businesses.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Experience in multi-national working environment (collaborating with remote teams)
- Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
- High integrity and passion for excellence
- Verbal and written proficiency in Thai will be an added advantage
