Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

VidaCorp is looking for a Business Development Manager to identify and secure ongoing independent pharmacy and state-based key account customers. This critical role will contribute to our consumer business development strategy by pursuing new prospects, while ensuring long-term retention and loyalty from existing customers. This is an ideal career move for a driven Territory Manager or Sales/BD pro with the desire to manage a team and work their way up from the coal face to negotiate key accounts with our top business leaders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential pharmacy customers, market trends, and competitive landscape; analyse data to develop targeted customer acquisition strategies
  • Use your influencing skills to engage prospects using a range of sales techniques including cold calling, networking, referrals, with a focus on being proactive rather than reactive
  • Manage end to end account and contract negotiation
  • Ensure regular, reliable reporting to Executive senior leadership
  • Effectively manage customer P&L to satisfy internal (VidaCorp) and external (customer) stakeholder objectives
