REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in business development and relationship management within the medical/healthcare/pharmaceutical (or similar) industry.
  • Ability to work in a complex market with a large number of stakeholders which requires intimate knowledge of the health and medical environment to deliver products and services that are specifically tailored to their needs and requirements.
  • Ability to capture the attention of time poor medical professionals on issues other than clinical practice.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for BDM to join our team based in our Melbourne CBD, Kew or Hampton offices.
This is a great new role working with our General Manager to deliver client and revenue growth for the Services division of Avant Practice Solutions. We offer medical practice set up consulting services as well as virtual administration and reception, transcription, medical billings, bookkeeping and payroll services to doctors.
We are looking for someone with strong experience in the medical industry who is capable of managing a sales pipeline, seeking new opportunities and prospects and developing and maturing productive relationships with doctors.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Establish presence and profile within your target segments (via major practices, colleges, societies, associations & hospitals) to support retention and cross-sell objectives and to self-generate a strong sales pipeline.
  • Develop and evolve relationships with industry partners to access new markets.
  • Deliver individual sales targets and build market share
  • Represent Avant Practice Solutions at industry events and functions.
  • Provide input in the form of market intelligence and competitor information to Avant management.
