The role
We’ve got an exciting opportunity for an experienced
Business Development Manager/ BID Manager to join our team in Poland and work with Business Executive Leader in the operation and delivery of the Business Development function within the company.

Your Responsibilities:

  • co-implementing the Business Development process (approach to the external market)
  • coordinating our business development activity between our businesses
  • helping client relationship teams with client contact mapping and the development of the client plans
  • supporting positioning Arup for Strategic Major Opportunities (with long lead times)
  • managing and enhance the use of CRM with the company.
  • collaborating with Marketing&Communication Officer
  • assisting in the production of marketing material / company information to enhance the company’s future business opportunities and to support bids in both the public and private sectors
  • undertaking research and developing deep insights into our clients’ organisations and the markets they are active in
  • analysing the research to help inform decision making and ensuring client insight remains at the core of decision making
  • analysing bid documents and assisting in preparing them
  • maintaining systems and libraries associated with the production of bid documentation
  • collecting the status of the bids through the evaluation, award process and feedback where relevant
  • co-ordinating inputs from others, both within and outside the company, to pre-qualification and tender submissions
  • reviewing and reformatting information that is provided for tenders

Requirements And Skills:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Fluent English written/verbal communication skills with both non-technical and technical audiences, including contributing to reports and other documentation
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar position (proposal coordination, in a work winning role)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Preferably engineering or business development related degree
  • Experience at leading and working with teams in fast-paced environments
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail as well as the ability to establish and meet deadlines
