THE OPPORTUNITY

Our Sales, Steering and Product Management team is currently looking for an experienced Business Development Manager, who will be responsible for the development of the product, brand positioning, channel and pricing sales strategy for expansion and entry into new product and segment initiatives aligning with the BMW Financial Services strategy.
This is a full time, permanent contract based in Mulgrave, Melbourne.

Additionally, the role is responsible for:

  • The evaluation, implementation, execution and optimization of Sales Steering and Product Management for Dealer Plan and Campaigns (Incl. Commissions, Volume Bonus).
  • The Project Management related to Sales Steering and Product Management initiatives (i.e. Early Termination and fee’s structure, Full Circle, etc.) as well as to identify proactively other initiatives with potential impact to the area and provide input accordingly.
  • The designing, executing and improving the Product Development and Product Management strategy in line with global (BMW Group and Financial Services) and local business objectives as well as with local rules and regulations.
  • Driving and develop business cases related to innovative initiatives and projects.
  • Responsible for communication of all new product launches and incentive schemes through the appropriate channels.
  • Responsible for ensuring the definition, development, monitoring of all products & services, including lease, loan for New Product Introduction (NPP), and product enhancements or product streamlining in the market, in alignment with HQ guidelines.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THIS ROLE

  • At least 8 years across the automotive financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams (directly or indirectly).
  • Experience in relationship management or a similar consulting role, preferably in the finance industry with exposure to sales operations.
  • Project Management from concept to launch.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, ability to liaise, negotiate and influence at all levels.
  • Well-developed capabilities in interpreting, analysing & synthesising data and detailed and / or complex information.

Additionally, the role is responsible for:
