Job description
We are actively recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager to represent our safety brands in the UK. You will enjoy developing markets and delivering growth through a consultative approach and your prior experience will demonstrate this. If you have a positive can-do attitude and a strategic mindset with the ability to delight our customers coupled with a proven track record of sales and business development success then this role could be perfect for you.
You will be responsible for a small team of Territory Sales Managers looking after our Safety brand. You will lead the strategic direction of the team to achieve success.

Required skills:

  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales or related field
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a faced paced environment
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Understanding of fianncial principles including pricing strategies, budgeting and forecasting.
  • UK Driving licenc

Preferered Qualifications:

  • Certification in sales or business development
  • Degree educated in a related field or qualified by experienc

Responsibilities:

  • Further develop corporate account strategy, goals and measures
  • Create Facility & Safety strategy, detailing market verticals and sub-verticals
  • Define the ‘go to market’ model per vertical/sub-vertical
  • Identify key targets per sector, both end-users and channel and develop/prospect
  • Work with TSM’s and the marketing teams to deliver the plan
  • Execute own lead generation and appointment setting
  • Develop account penetration and retention tactics
  • Identify innovative solutions to meet customer needs
  • Prepare commercial quotations and respond to tender requests
  • Leverage solutions (scaleable opportunities) across new and existing accounts
  • Create selling KPI’s, measure and report
  • Revenue growth across the entire Safety & Facility platform
