Description:

Citrus Recruit are thrilled to be working with a rapidly expanding company in the IT communications sector to recruit for an experienced Business Development Manager.
As a Business Development Manager you will be identifying and selling to new and existing customers, with the aim to build your customer portfolio.
The position will require you to win and manage your new client through the onboarding processes, whilst working with key stakeholders within the company to ensure a smooth transition to go live.
Initially whilst building your portfolio of customers you be focusing on hunting new opportunities while gradually transitioning to account management as your client bases grows.
The successful candidate will have experience in the IT communications sector and has experience in identifying the sales opportunity and managing the customer through the onboarding process, along with ongoing Account Management.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

As a Business Development Manager we are looking for the following experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a self-generating business development role with an MSP, preferably selling IT support among other services/products.
  • Proven track record in winning new business and Account Management
  • Self-starter driven by achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Generate meetings through proactive business development and networking.
  • Collaborate with internal account managers to identify cross-selling opportunities for IT products/services.
  • Coordinate with the technical team to ensure the technical soundness of proposals.
  • Manage your own sales pipeline.
  • Serve as a point of contact throughout deployment, facilitating smooth project rollouts and positive customer onboarding experiences.
  • Promote cross-selling across the product portfolio by collaborating with internal departments.
  • Manage accounts by maintaining regular contact and conducting monthly or quarterly reviews with your customers.
  • Working to an annual financial target.
