SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE CAPABILITIES:

  • Degree qualified with a relevant business degree.
  • Relevant experience in financial instruments, products, platforms, and financial planning including a thorough understanding of the relevant legislation and regulation applying to the industry.
  • Excellent relationship building skills and business development techniques.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Business Development Manager. The role will take ownership of the NSW & ACT market where the primary objective will be to grow the profile and usage of the HUB24 platform within current and new licensees.
You will effectively manage key relationships, meet all sales targets, train and field support of new and current clients. You will represent HUB24 within the financial services marketplace and provide input to the development of the HUB24 platform. Partnering closely with key internal and external stakeholders, this role will see you be the face of HUB24.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identifying the current share that HUB24 receives from our panel of advisers and discover opportunities to increase.
  • Creation and management of an activity plan, plus a business development & marketing program that can be delivered to advisers and their clients e.g., office tours, seminars, education sessions, events and meetings with senior HUB24 staff.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential prospects which includes actively seeking referrals from current clients and contacts.
  • Undertake structured and methodical research on the adviser’s business and ensure that all HUB24 opportunities have been explored and presented.
  • Identifying the non-HUB24 platform solutions that advisers are using and present compelling reasons for them to use an HUB24 Solution.
  • Assist advisers to identify business opportunities and provide service and marketing solutions that will assist them.
  • Achieve adviser organic growth budgets and monitor and manage performance to sales targets.
  • Engage transition team where appropriate to support movement of agreed business.
  • Regularly meet clients and support staff and ensure they are adequately trained on the usage of the platform and technology.
  • Communicate any product/service updates to panel and assist on client issues and concerns related to usage of the platform.
  • Actively seek adviser/dealer input into potential enhancements for HUB24 platform and engage with fund managers to determine suggested improvements to the HUB24 menus.
  • Contribute ideas to the IT development agenda and provide feedback in all sales forums regarding growth opportunities and significant client issues or initiatives.
  • Approach HUB24 supporting Dealer group heads to propose business development ideas and initiatives and ensure minimum production levels are maintained.
  • Increase profile in local market through presentations or industry participation and attend relevant PD days / conferences to actively promote HUB24 services and functionality.
