Position: Business Development Manager – Clean Fuels

Responsibilities:

Based in our Perth or Sydney Corporate Office and reporting directly to the GM Clean Fuels the Business Development Manager for Clean Fuels plays a critical role in driving the development of Clean Fuels opportunities within ATCO. The role calls for an experienced commercial professional to develop project opportunities from initial concept to final investment decision while collaborating with internal teams and external partners required to build out the key elements of the project. By way of example, this would include an understanding of commercial agreements and structures, stakeholder engagement, coordinating technical works and demonstrating a pathway to project approvals.

  • Work closely with the Clean Fuels business development function, partners and external consultants to identify and evaluate project opportunities, leveraging industry expertise and market insights.
  • Support the project evaluation process by providing input on commercial and technical feasibility, contributing to internal decision-making processes related to project investment.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement processes to ensure alignment and support for project development objectives.
  • Lead the development and negotiation of relevant commercial agreements.
  • Oversee land access activities, including negotiations, agreements, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate environmental approval processes, working closely with regulatory agencies and consultants to obtain necessary permits.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams including Investment, Engineering/Construction, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Communications, and ESG to facilitate project development.
  • Maintain internal project documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and accessibility for stakeholders.
