Cloud 9 have a fantastic opportunity for a new Business Development Manager to join one of the UK’s leading suppliers of food packaging solutions! You will be home-based, travelling to prospective new clients with a view to building a portfolio of large corporate accounts. We are looking for dynamic and results-driven professionals who can demonstrate a successful record of securing new business within the food packaging sector. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
At least 1 years’ experience in a similar role within the food packaging industry.
Ability to demonstrate a successful track record of new business development.
Strong presentation, negotiation and closing skills.
Highly motivated and results driven.
Excellent communication skills on all levels.
A confident and personable relationship builder.
Excellent IT, numeracy and literacy skills.
Flexible with excellent organisational skills.
Hold a clean UK Driving Licence.
Responsibilities:
Identify and source new business within large blue-chip businesses.
Bring new customers on board by meeting and fostering strong relationships with potential customers.
Source new business in a variety of sectors developing a portfolio of large corporate accounts.
Develop a strong knowledge of company products and bespoke packaging solutions to best serve customer needs and requirements.
Actively promote the company’s large portfolio of products and services.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Effectively manage the sales process from initial consultation through to closure.
Provide a first-class customer experience at all times.
Meet and exceed sales targets and plans.
