The role
As the Commercial Solar Business Development Manager, you will lead our efforts to penetrate the commercial and industrial solar market in New Zealand. Working closely with our Head of Solar NZ, you’ll develop and implement strategic business plans to drive market expansion and ensure sustained profitability. Your key responsibilities include targeting key commercial sectors and industries ready for solar solutions, crafting and executing business strategies to boost market share, and building and nurturing lasting relationships with clients across various industries.
You’ll be the driving force behind our solar product sales in NZ, both in commercial installations and through our Home Solutions and builder teams. Your comprehensive understanding of the solar market landscape, including trends, competitors, and customer preferences, will shape our growth trajectory. By championing our products and delivering exceptional customer service, you’ll cultivate a loyal customer base and position Fisher & Paykel as a formidable contender in the solar energy sector.
What are we looking for?
We seek a seasoned professional with B2B sales experience in the New Zealand market. Your proven ability to build enduring relationships and achieve tangible business results will set you apart. While experience in the solar and electricity markets is preferred, a strong numerical acumen and a passion for sustainability are essential. A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Commerce, or Engineering, coupled with exemplary technical and communication skills, will make you an ideal candidate.
