Essential experience: Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the digital transformation, software delivery, consulting, professional services or customer experience sectors. Success in this position will heavily rely on your ability to leverage existing C-suite relationships.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Skills & Capability:
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong/broad technical knowledge of Full Stack, MarTech, AI, Digital, Cloud, Mobile Etc.
  • Converting a project into large scale Program of work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a “hunter” who is a dynamic and client-focused Business Development Manager to join our team in Melbourne. This role will be responsible for generating a robust sales pipeline, developing relationships with new clients, and driving the contracting of services. This role is crucial in expanding our market presence and achieving our business growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pipeline Generation: Identify and qualify new business opportunities through various channels, including networking, direct outreach, collaborating with marketing, collaborating with partners, collaborating with Concentrix colleagues and attending industry events.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, delivery, and strategic partners to align sales strategies with company goals. A key part of this role also will involve collaborating with other members of the sales and account management teams in Concentrix to provide “One Concentrix” proposals to prospects and managed accounts.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Reporting: Manage and report on sales activities and performance metrics, and ensure the sales pipeline and forecast is accurate.
