Description:
OVERVIEW:
Brand new opportunity with a pioneering digital health platform, that is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive their next phase of growth. After securing investment, this is a unique opportunity to join a company at scale-up phase, at the forefront of health tech innovation, dedicated to making healthcare accessible, proactive, and user-friendly.
Reporting directly to the Co-Founder & CEO, the successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the brand’s commercial strategy and will be trained and guided into a C-level role as they scale.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
- Successful sales experience in the health tech or digital health or health-insurance industry.
- Strong leadership with a history of building and managing high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent business acumen to analyse market trends, identify growth opportunities, and craft effective sales strategies.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills for building lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
- Focused on achieving and exceeding sales targets with integrity and professionalism.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related fields; advanced degrees or certifications in sales management or health tech are a plus.
Salary: up to £36,000 plus bonus commission (OTE £57,500 year 1), plus opportunity to acquire shares.
Responsibilities:
The Business Development Manager will be a highly motivated individual with a passion for sales and an understanding of health tech or digital health. You should be a team player who excels in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and understands the startup ecosystem, demonstrating adaptability to support organisational growth.
As the Business Development Manager in what is initially a stand-alone position (with scope to grow out your team), you will be responsible for accelerating revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building strategic partnerships. Being so early-on in the company, there is the unique and exciting opportunity to take some ownership of the company by way of shares.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Create and implement sales plans to meet or exceed revenue goals, focusing on businesses using our AI-powered health management tools and personalised package recommendations.
- Forge and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, corporate clients, and tech partners to boost brand visibility and sales.
- Build, lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team as the company grows.
- Analyse market trends, competition, and customer preferences to guide strategic decisions and product development.
- Partner with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure cohesive execution of sales strategies and outstanding customer experiences.
- Represent the Brand at health tech and well-being events to showcase our solutions and expand our network.
- Stay updated on digital health trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and drive innovation.
