Job Description
Since its inception in 1992, bioskin has been recognized as a valuable partner for clinical trials in dermatological indications. Starting as a small Contract Research Organization (CRO) specialized in conducting early phase safety and efficacy trials, bioskin has grown into a full-service CRO offering global dermatologic consulting and regulatory services and all services for management of Phase I-IV drug trials and medical device studies. bioskin is headquartered in Hamburg, Germany.
We are unique in our understanding and capabilities for both early and late phase development of dermatological and related products. A core expertise is interpretation of study results, integrating biophysical measurement methods to deliver objective data about skin function and structure to support traditional clinical endpoints. For global early and late phase studies Eurofins bioskin partners with selected, reliable partners throughout Europe, US, Latin America, Central & Eastern Europe, and South Africa.

Business Development Manager will contribute to the significant growth of the Eurofins bioskin business by:

  • Designing and implementing business development strategy based on the business strengths and needs.
  • Collaborating with the leadership on the strategy execution to meet the business growth objectives, structure new deals and build upon existing business relationships.
  • Strengthening the market position by creating, nurturing, and closing new business relationships to ensure consistent and rapid growth in sales.
  • Screening the market potential by analyzing direct competitors, identifying potential targets, and evaluating opportunities to convert generated leads to clients and successfully bring the new business.
  • Developing existing accounts to increase their value for the organization by upselling and cross-selling activities.
  • Participating in congresses, seminars, and industry events to increase brand visibility and recognition.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams on materials and tools to support new business opportunities and to promote the Eurofins brand.
  • Acquiring further market knowledge by identifying and monitoring industry trends, customer drivers, major industry players, and main decision makers.
  • Performing other duties as required and assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Academic degree from a reputable institution.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in sales or business development, preferably in the CRO sector (specialized in dermatology clinical trials and related products) with established network in the industry.
  • Proven track record of success which demonstrates the growth progress throughout years of experience.
  • Ability to design, develop and execute business development strategy to contribute to the strategic direction of the business and meet the growth objectives.
  • Strong aggressive business development skills with a hunter and winning mentality, drive for results, proactive and can-do attitude, especially in driving footprint in new areas, with new clients.
  • Outstanding presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, both externally and internally.
  • Excellent language skills (verbal and written) in English.
