Description:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed scientific degree or comparable qualification
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in business development for a service provider, ideally with a focus in early drug discovery as well as preclinical development and toxicology
  • Detailed knowledge of the French, Benelux and European market.
  • Very high willingness to travel (50-60%) to clients and congresses
  • Experience using a CRM and a modern selling environment
  • Strong communication skills in French and English

Responsibilities:

  • The position holder will be responsible for developing new business for the Drug Discovery service portfolio of Nuvisan ICB in his/her area of the Europe and cross-selling preclinical and early development services as well as other Nuvisan ICB / Nuvisan services
  • Act on a territory and account plan
  • Deliver according to agreed sales targets
  • Implement strategies for establishing and maintaining international client relationships
  • Maintain and expand the potential client network to identify and develop new business areas
  • Perform market analyses to identify new potential customers
  • Create convincing and tailor-made proposals/offers on request from potential customers in coordination with the scientific and proposal specialists
  • Organize customer appointments, organization and participation in events/conventions; set up client meeting, roadshows etc. to effectively promote Nuvisan
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of CRM entries
