Our work depends on Business Development Manager joining our team to perform long range identification of opportunities, leadership of current customers, development of new customers, creation of compelling win strategies, and marshalling the resources needed to successfully win both recompeted and new work. Major emphasis on all large Navy opportunities that require cross company cooperation to develop a winning solution. You would be the account lead for the Navy customer sets. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that successfully develops strategic plans, identifies promising opportunities, and then gains leadership approval for pursuit. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of successfully closing business on large and strategic Navy/Marine Corps opportunities, and an ability to work collaboratively. A demonstrated intimacy across the Navy/Marine Corps major stakeholder organizations and in particular an understanding of the DON CIO strategy and enterprise initiatives is required to perform this role.
