JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Sales Executive for the U.S. Bank Payment Solutions -Public Sector to sell Payment processing and technology solutions to National accounts in the Public Sector vertical. Seeking 10 years of product selling experience with 7 plus years of experience selling payment processing in the retail and eCommerce space. Has experience with CNP (card not present) and reoccurring payments. As well as Enterprise sales skills with an entrepreneurial mindset. This position will be home-based and may have an assigned territory.
Responsibilities to include:
- Working through various internal channels for lead development including bank partners
- technology partners, and self-generated opportunity identification
- Developing profitable new business account relationships and increased profitability
- Identifies business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products and services
- Respond to RFIs/RFPs/RFQs, as appropriate from time to time
- Drive business development opportunities with new clients
- Implements and maintains an effective referral network and call program to promote sales
- Establishes and maintains internal relationship
- Establishes and maintains good public relationships with the community to enhance the organization’s image and develop new business
- Ability to travel – approximately 20% to clients
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Nine or more years of product sales experience
- Ability to travel

- Excellent marketing and business development/sales skills
- Strong negotiation and decision-making skills
- Ability to creatively resolve complex problems with general guidance
